【摘要】:TheformulaespecifiedinthisInternationalStandardareintendedtoestablishauniformlyacceptablemethodforcal-culatingthepittingresistanceandbendingstrengthcapacityofhighspeedgearsandgearsofsimilarrequirementswithstraightorhelicalteeth.TheratingformulaeinthisInternationalStandardarenotapplicabletoothertypesofgeartoothdeterioration,suchasplasticyielding,micropitting,scuffing,casecrushing,weldingandwear,andarenotapplicableundervibratoryconditionswheretheremaybeanunpredictableprofilebreakdown.Thebendingstrengthformulaeareapplicabletofracturesatthetoothfillet,butarenotapplicabletofracturesonthetoothworkingprofilesurfaces,failureofthegearrim,orfailuresofthegearblankthroughwebandhub.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplytoteethfinishedbyforgingorsintering.Itisnotapplicabletogearswhichhaveapoorcontactpattern.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesamethodbywhichdifferentgeardesignscanbecompared.Itisnotintendedtoassuretheperformanceofassembleddrivegearsystems.Itisnotintendedforusebythegeneralengineeringpub-lic.Instead,itisintendedforusebytheexperiencedgeardesignerwhoiscapableofselectingreasonablevaluesforthefactorsintheseformulaebasedonknowledgeofsimilardesignsandawarenessoftheeffectsoftheitemsdis-cussed.CAUTION—TheuseriscautionedthatthecalculatedresultsofthisInternationalStandardshouldbecon-firmedbyexperience.
