【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequirementsforgrading,testmethods,determinationofcharacteristicvalues,methodsofspecifyingdurabilityandsizesofsinglepolesmanufacturedfromsolidtimberfortelecommunicationsandelectricaldistributionpurposes,eitherpreservativetreatedoruntreated,undercantileverorcompressionloading.Itspecifiesthe:-methodsofmeasuringthesizesofsolidwoodpolesforoverheadtransmissionandtelecommunicationlinesandpermissibledeviationsthataretakenintoaccountfortheacceptanceofthepoles;-requirementsforhandlingandthecharacteristicsforvisualstrengthgradingofsoftwoodandhardwoodpoles,aswellasthemarkingrequirements;-methodsoftesttodeterminecharacteristicvaluesformodulusofelasticityandbendingstrengthofanypopulationofwoodpolesandmoisturecontentofsolidwoodpoles;-requirementsfordurabilityandpreservativetreatmentofwoodpoles.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletobothsoftwoodandhardwoodpoles.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotquantifytheservicelifethatcanbeexpectedfromapole.NOTEThisdependsonitsgeographicallocation,theassociatedclimateofitsserviceenvironmentandeitherthenaturaldurabilityoftheheartwoodofthespeciesselectedorthecombinationbetweenselectionofspecies,preservativetype,andrequirementsofretentionandanyincisedzones.Itisnotapplicabletopolesusedasbeams.
