【摘要】:Thecombustionqualityofaviationturbinefuelhastraditionallybeencontrolledinspecificationsbysuchtestsassmokepoint(seeTestMethodD1322),smokevolatilityindex,aromaticcontentofluminometernumber(seeTestMethodD1740).Evidenceisaccumulatingthatabettercontrolofthequalitymaybeobtainedbylimitingtheminimumhydrogencontentofthefuel.Existingmethodsallowthehydrogencontenttobecalculatedfromotherparametersordeterminedbycombustiontechniques.Themethodspecifiedprovidesaquick,simple,andmoreprecisealternativetothesemethods.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthehydrogencontentofaviationturbinefuels.1.2UseTestMethodsD4808forthedeterminationofhydrogeninotherpetroleumliquids.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thepreferredunitsaremasspercenthydrogen.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificprecautionarystatement,see.
