【摘要】:Thisclassificationcontainspairsofscalesforclassifyinganaspectoftheserviceabilityofanofficefacility,thatis,thecapabilityofanofficefacilitytomeetcertainpossiblerequirementsforspecialfacilitiesandtechnologies.EachpairofscalesshowninFigs.1through6printedside-by-sideonapage,areforclassifyingonetopicofserviceabilitywithinthataspectofserviceability.EachparagraphinanOccupantRequirementScale(seeFigs.1through6)summarizesonelevelofserviceabilityonthattopicthatoccupantsmightrequire.ThematchingentryintheFacilityRatingScale(SeeFigs.1through6)isatranslationoftherequirementintoadescriptionofcertainfeaturesofafacilitythat,takenincombination,indicatethatthefacilityislikelytomeetthatlevelofrequiredserviceability.TheentriesintheFacilityRatingScale(SeeFigs.1through6)areindicativeandnotcomprehensive.Theyareforquickscanning,toestimateapproximately,quickly,andeconomically,howwellanofficefacilityislikelytomeettheneedsofoneoranothertypeofoccupantgroupovertime.Theentriesarenotformeasuring,knowing,andevaluatinghowanofficefacilityisperforming.Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofanexistingfacility.Itcanalsobeusedtoestimatetheserviceabilityofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,suchasoneforwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.Thisclassificationindicateswhatwouldcauseafacilitytoberatedatacertainlevelofserviceability,butitdoesnotstatehowtoconductaserviceabilityratingnorhowtoassignaserviceabilityscore.ThatinformationisfoundinPracticeE1334.ThescalesinthisclassificationarecomplementarytoandcompatiblewithPracticeE1334.Eachrequirestheother.
